CPA Lisa Bushur came to me because she wanted to write a book that would help families save money on their taxes. The Fenton, Missouri-based CPA started her accounting career at Price Waterhouse as a Controller, but over the years found a passion for helping everyday people save their hard-earned money.

We worked together to develop her book, Tax Path for Middle-Income Families, the first in a series Lisa has planned. The book helps individuals and families at middle income levels find savings on their income tax. Rich with information such as:

  • How to accelerate deductions
  • How to postpone income scenarios
  • How to get Uncle Sam to help pay for college with college income tax credits and deductions
  • Retirement plan tax implications & more

How to write a business book - tax path writing a business bookAs a CPA, Lisa’s gift was in the numbers, but as a novice writer, she required guidance and expert assistance to write and publish a nonfiction book. Over the course of one year, Lisa worked to write and publish her book through  is now a published authors and wrote her book through my group book writing & publishing program – an all-online course – where she was able to work with other peers and directly with an international book coach – as she moved forward with her book step by step in 2015.

Since it’s release, Lisa’s book has been optioned by Thompson Reuters, to be used as part of a continuing education course for CPAs.
